Job summary

Standard Chartered seeks a Business Enablement Manager - Accountant to support the Team Leader in accounting and invoicing for trust structures and to prepare EAM retrocession fee statements for PvB FIM desks. You will also provide training to junior colleagues as part of the role.

The role covers financial statement book-keeping for SCTS trusts, collaboration with external auditors, and contributions to internal and external reporting, with a focus on regulatory compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications

• ACCA, AAT, CPA, or recognised accountancy qualification.
• 5+ years of experience in finance and client accounting roles, prior working experience in Trust companies or banks will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support Team Leader in accounting and invoicing for trust structures.
• Prepare External Asset Management Retrocession Fee statements for PvB FIM desk.
• Bookkeep accounts and prepare financial statements for trust structures and SCTS-managed companies.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax agents for statutory filings and audits.
• Assist in issuing SCTS fee invoices when fees are due.
• Assist in internal and external reporting related to trust and SCTS structures.
• Keep up-to-date with regulatory changes and participate in system migrations when required.
