This senior leadership role offers complete operational financial stewardship, spearheading regional FP&A, project treasury, capital structuring execution, asset‑level M&A support, and end‑to‑end financial control across APAC and operating entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute the day‑to‑day regional financial strategy in alignment with long‑term growth goals, supporting multi‑jurisdictional clean energy development pipelines and portfolio assets across APAC.
- Oversee corporate and project‑level treasury operations, managing cash liquidity, working capital, FX risk mitigation, non‑recourse project finance debt/equity execution, and refinancing initiatives.
- Direct business planning, annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and financial modeling to rigorously track performance across operating assets and pipeline projects.
- Lead financial due diligence, valuation, tax structuring, and commercial negotiation support for asset acquisitions, greenfield/brownfield developments, and joint venture partnerships.
- Manage end‑to‑end regional accounting, financial reporting, and consolidations across operating entities, ensuring strict compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
- Oversee cross‑border tax planning, transfer pricing strategies, internal controls, and regional tax compliance across diverse APAC jurisdictions.
- Serve as the primary senior liaison to regional banking syndicates, institutional investors, project partners, auditors, and regulatory bodies across APAC.
- Partner directly with C‑suite leadership and project directors on capital deployment strategy while building, mentoring, and scaling a high‑performing regional finance function.
Requirements
- Minimum 15+ years of progressive financial management experience, including proven leadership within APAC markets.
- Track record in renewable energy, power, utilities, or capital‑intensive infrastructure platforms is strongly required.
- Demonstrated hands‑on experience structuring project debt, non‑recourse financing, and managing complex asset life cycles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field; CA, CPA, or CFA designation required.
