Job summary

ACCA Careers is seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting. The role requires driving month-end close processes and ensuring strong governance.

You will partner with stakeholders to provide strategic financial guidance, manage a high-performing team, and deliver accurate, timely financial activities in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or Finance; CA/CPA or equivalent preferred.
• 15+ years of finance experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and governance expertise.

• Manage fund budgets, ensuring effective planning, utilisation, monitoring, and compliance with funding and budget requirements.
• Prepare management reports, financial analyses, and forecasts to support operational and business decision-making.
• Monitor cash budgets and liquidity requirements to ensure adequate funding and effective resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, governance policies, regulatory requirements, and statutory reporting obligations.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

The Talent Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline; CA, CPA, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and finance operations.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and governance requirements.
• Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders, assess financial risks, and provide strategic recommendations.
• Experience in process improvement, finance transformation, and team leadership, with strong communication and people management skills
