Job summary

LG Display Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks a Senior Financial Controller to lead closing, governance and reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate financial statements. You will drive forecasting, cost optimization and cross-functional analyses to influence strategic decisions.

The role requires a first-level university degree in business or economics and 10+ years in finance across multiple functions; advanced degree or accounting certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and report (e.g., profit and balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, etc.) to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives.
• Driving the forecasting process (weekly, Per Day, and long term) by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business- and corporate-wide objectives.
• Communicates and drives adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the organizations financial goals and policies. Has the fiduciary responsibility to represent financial correctly both internally and externally.
• Work with internal departments for sales pricing, cost optimization related analysis and measures.
• Resolve accounting team`s reporting error and discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with internal protocols and regulatory/policies on department and management level.
• Ensures strong business controls.
• Support in other ad-hoc tasks assigned.

• First level university degree with a focus in business or economics: advanced degree or accounting certification preferred
• Typically 10 plus years of experience as a financial controller.
• Typically experienced in more than one finance function.
