Job summary

LS Systems in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Finance Executive to support day-to-day accounting and finance activities. You will maintain accurate financial records, handle AP/AR, invoices, GST-related tasks, and assist with monthly closures.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with AutoCount Accounting System. You will liaise with auditors, suppliers, and banks in a structured, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant Accounting or Finance experience.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCount Accounting System is preferred.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Singapore GST and accounting practices is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, reliable, and able to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions using AutoCount Accounting System.
• Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Prepare invoices, credit notes, debit notes, receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Record and maintain accurate accounting entries in AutoCount.
• Monitor customer outstanding balances and follow up on payments.
• Process supplier invoices and prepare payments.
• Perform bank and petty cash reconciliation.
• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
• Assist with monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Assist with GST-related accounting records and submissions, where applicable.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, customers, suppliers, and banks when required.
• Ensure all accounting documents are properly filed and maintained.
• Assist with finance-related documentation and record-keeping.
• Support general administrative and office coordination activities when required.
• Maintain proper filing and document management systems.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
