Job summary

JAC Recruitment partners with a leading Japanese professional services firm to hire an Assistant Manager (Finance) in Singapore. The role covers outsourced accounting, financial statement prep, and timely closing for a mixed client portfolio.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Accountancy or Finance with 4+ years in accounting or audit, solid SFRS knowledge, and strong communication to liaise with clients, auditors, and tax agents. Travel to Malaysia/Indonesia may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years in accounting, audit, or corporate services.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).

Responsibilities

• Manage outsourced accounting for local and international clients.
• Prepare and review financial statements.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Conduct Financial Due Diligence (FDD) engagements.
• Liaise with clients, auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders.
• Review reconciliations and mentor junior team members.
