Job summary

GYK TalenSync Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Finance and Accounting Manager from a Financial Services background. You will lead financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance and manage multi-asset accounting, including crypto-related governance.

The role requires 8–10 years in finance, CPA or equivalent, and hands-on NetSuite experience. You will interact with regulators, manage treasury, and support corporate finance planning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of finance and accounting experience, buy-side focus preferred.
• Proven expertise in corporate finance, treasury and regulatory reporting.
• Experience with crypto product regulatory requirements is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full set of books, including journal entries, payables/receivables, accruals and GL.
• Own month-end and year-end closes, reconciliations across banks, brokers and digits.
• Prepare budgets/forecasts and monitor performance against them.
• Deliver timely financial statements compliant with standards and policies.
• Oversee treasury management and strategic financial planning.
• Coordinate GST with tax agent and manage transfer pricing.
• Design and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Prepare regulatory returns to MAS and ensure proper client money asset reconciliations.

Job Summary

Our client seeks an experienced Finance and Accounting Manager from Financial Services industry background. This role will provide vital support in managing financial operations and navigating regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting:

• Independently maintain the company's full set of books and records, including journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and the general ledger.

• Own the month-end and year-end close, including bank, broker, custodian and digital asset wallet reconciliations, and intercompany balances.

• Prepare budgets and forecasts, and monitor performance against them.

• Prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

• Implement and oversee corporate finance functions, including treasury management and strategic financial planning.

• Coordinate with the tax agent on corporate tax matters.

• Handle transfer pricing responsibilities.

• Design, document and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures for the finance function.

Regulatory Compliance

• Prepare and ensure timely and accurate regulatory returns to MAS, including financial returns and capital adequacy computations, staying updated on regulatory changes and incorporating them into the company’s processes.

• Perform client money and client asset reconciliations and ensure proper segregation in line with MAS requirements.

• Coordinate with the tax agent on GST submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.

• 8 to 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a strong background in buy-side financial operations.

• Proven expertise in corporate finance, treasury management, and regulatory reporting, particularly in multi-asset classes.

• Familiarity with the CMS portal and MAS requirements for crypto products is highly desirable.

• Hands-on experience with financial systems, including managing NetSuite, is a plus.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage BAU-heavy tasks effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external regulators.
