Job summary

HOESTAR INSPECTION INTERNATIONAL PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a qualified inspector to perform Infrared Thermography and Partial Discharge inspections on LV/HV electrical systems, with the aim of detecting faults and enhancing asset reliability for clients in the Asia-Pacific region. The role involves on-site measurements, data collection, reporting, and compliance with safety standards.

Requires a Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, 1–5 years' relevant experience, good English,

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of relevant maintenance or inspection experience.
• Proficient in basic computer applications for reporting and data handling.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel within Singapore and the region.

Responsibilities

• Perform Infrared Thermography and Partial Discharge inspections on LV/HV electrical equipment to identify potential faults.
• Conduct on-site measurements and collect data to support technical analysis and fault diagnosis.
• Analyze inspection data and prepare accurate, professional reports detailing findings and recommendations.
• Identify abnormalities in electrical systems and provide practical technical observations to improve asset reliability.
• Operate and maintain advanced inspection instruments and software to ensure accurate testing results.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and site requirements during inspections.
• Maintain proper care and readiness of all inspection equipment to support operational efficiency.
• Complete inspection assignments within project timelines to meet client expectations.
• Continuously enhance technical knowledge and inspection skills through training and hands-on experience.

Job Summary

• Analyze inspection data and prepare accurate, professional reports detailing findings and recommendations
• Identify abnormalities in electrical systems and provide practical technical observations to improve asset reliability
• Operate and maintain advanced inspection instruments and software to ensure accurate testing results

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 1–5 years of relevant experience in maintenance or inspection

• Willingness to travel within Singapore and the region

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in Infrared Thermography and/or Partial Discharge Testing
• Knowledge of Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) electrical systems
• Valid Class 3 Driving Licence
