About the role

An Electrician position based in Singapore, responsible for electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, testing, and repair works for industrial facilities and equipment. The role involves working with both High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems, designing and modifying customized electrical control cabinets/panels, and ensuring all electrical works comply with Singapore local regulations, electrical codes, safety requirements, and relevant BCA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, testing, and repair works for industrial facilities and equipment.

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical systems and equipment.
• Work with both High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Design, assemble, modify, and troubleshoot customized electrical control cabinets/panels according to project requirements.
• Carry out basic electrical control panel design, wiring, installation, and modification.
• Conduct electrical testing and commissioning of equipment and control systems.
• Identify electrical faults and provide effective troubleshooting and repair solutions.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with Singapore local regulations, electrical codes, safety requirements, and relevant BCA standards.
• Perform site inspections and ensure electrical works are completed safely and according to approved drawings and specifications.

About you

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
