Job summary

STAFFKING PTE. LTD. is seeking a field service technician to perform on-site inspections and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment at client sites across Singapore.

The role includes troubleshooting, installation work and testing to ensure proper functionality. Ideal candidates hold an ITE or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and are willing to travel to different client sites. Basic knowledge of equipment and safety compliance is required; a Class 3 driving licence is

Qualifications

• ITE or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Willingness to travel to different client sites across Singapore.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspections, troubleshooting and technical servicing at clients' premises.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, equipment repairs and installation work.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Perform testing and commissioning of equipment and systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Assist with mechanical and electrical equipment upgrades and system improvements.
• Work closely with Engineers on project coordination, equipment installation and maintenance activities.
• Ensure servicing and maintenance activities comply with company procedures and safety requirements.
• Follow established field service processes, technical guidelines and operational protocols.
• Provide technical support and resolve equipment-related issues at customer sites.
• Perform other ad-hoc technical and engineering duties as assigned.

Job Scopes:

• Perform on-site inspections, troubleshooting and technical servicing at clients' premises.

• Carry out preventive maintenance, equipment repairs and installation work.

• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Perform testing and commissioning of equipment and systems to ensure proper functionality.

• Assist with mechanical and electrical equipment upgrades and system improvements.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum ITE or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply; on-the-job training will be provided.

• Relevant experience in equipment maintenance, servicing, installation or troubleshooting is an added advantage.

• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment and systems.

• Willing to perform hands-on technical work and travel to different client sites across Singapore.

• Possession of a valid Class 3 Driving Licence is an added advantage.
