Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is looking for a fresh graduate to join our Field Service Engineer traineeship in Singapore.

The role focuses on commissioning, installing and testing transformer-related equipment, with a strong emphasis on customer interaction and on-site service. You will gain hands-on experience through a 1-year traineeship, supported by leadership and mentoring programs, technical and product training, and industry site exposure.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate from undergraduate STEM studies.
• Willing to travel locally or abroad as part of role.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advisory during commissioning, installation and testing of equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex start-up issues and correct problems with guidance.
• Develop relationships with customers to secure future service opportunities.
• Assist sales and project teams to grow transformer service business.
