Job summary

WEG Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Technical Services Engineer to install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot WEG products at customer sites across ASEAN. You will work with control systems, ensure safety compliance, and train customers on equipment operation and preventive maintenance.

Candidate should have a Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years in commissioning and troubleshooting of motors, drives, and control systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma & degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply; prior marine experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years' commissioning & troubleshooting experience for electric motors, drives and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission WEG products at customer sites, integrating VFDs and motors.
• Perform field service for maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation.
• Provide on-site training and technical support to customers.
• Offer technical consultation and collaborate with the team to tailor solutions for customers.
• Maintain service records, schedule maintenance, and report on equipment conditions.
• Ensure health, safety, and compliance on-site according to regulations.
• Collaborate with technical and support teams to resolve complex issues and manage customer relations.
• Willingness to travel within ASEAN for on-site service and installations.
• Analyse data and report findings to support product and system improvements.
• Monitor inventory and ensure availability of parts for ongoing projects.
• Assist with presentations and documentation for stakeholders.
• Provide urgent support during breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills in meetings, emails, and reports.
