Job summary

HUDSON RPO (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Field Services Technician to operate and maintain water treatment systems on site in Singapore.

You will perform first line troubleshooting, calibrate instruments, top up chemicals, and review plant data, reporting to the Site Lead for day-to-day operations. The candidate should have an ITE/ Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 1 year of field service or maintenance experience in water & process treatment, with strong English

• Proficient in English (written and spoken).

• Comply to regulatory and site EHS and security requirement
• Perform first line troubleshooting
• Top up Chemicals and replace consumables
• Perform instruments calibration and analyzer routine maintenance.
• Collect and review operating data of the water treatment plant
• Directly report to Site Lead for day-today operation
• Be available for emergency on-call support outside of standard office hours as required by customer site requests

Responsibilities/Job Descriptions:

The Field Services provides direction and assistance to workgroup to meet assigned objectives. In this role, you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to moderately complex issues, and resolve problems through immediate troubleshooting action or short-term planning, while also planning for long term preventive action.

This role is part of a team responsible for providing technical and operation support, as well as after-sales services to our broad customers’ base.

Reporting to the Customer Account Manager (Singapore),specific responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Operate and maintain water treatment system
• Comply to regulatory and site EHS and security requirement
• Perform first line troubleshooting
• Top up Chemicals and replace consumables
• Perform instruments calibration and analyzer routine maintenance.
• Collect and review operating data of the water treatment plant

Requirements:

• ITE/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• At least 1 year of experience in a field service or maintenance position for water & process treatment field).
• Must be able to communicate in English for both written & verbal
