Job summary

Veolia Singapore is seeking a field service/operations professional to act as the primary customer contact and portfolio leader. You will work closely with the service, procurement and sales teams to deliver projects and resolve issues, while guiding a team of specialists and subcontractors to ensure quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrument engineering with relevant experience in water treatment/operations.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the territory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Diploma holders in Electrical/Instrumentation with 5 years of relevant experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Act as Veolia point of contact for the customer and manage client portfolio.
• Lead frontline dealings with customer on demands and deliveries.
• Collaborate with Service Leader, service center leader and sales team to fulfill work orders and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with procurement and 3rd party vendors for quotations, surveys, orders and deliveries.
• Initiate modification and retrofit projects (Value-Added Projects) and manage teams for execution.
• Oversee ad-hoc services and small projects, combining managerial and hands-on work.
• Promote Veolia EHS and Ethics policies and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain 24/7 on-call coverage for emergencies and service delivery.

Job Description

• Act as VEOLIA point of contact for the customer. Develop relationships with customer and manage client portfolio; be the leader in frontline dealing with customer on demands and deliveries.


• Work in close cooperation with Singapore Service Leader, service center leader and sales/proposal team to deliver work orders / projects and resolve customer issues.


• Liaise with procurement, 3rd party vendors/contractors for quotations, site surveys, orders, deliveries and work executions


• Initiate & implement required modification and retrofit projects (Value-Added Projects)


• Manage a team of specialists and various subcontractors for works execution. Provide guidance to the team on technical, resources, skills / knowledge and reporting to achieve services excellence.


• Manage and execute ad-hoc services / small projects (managerial & hands-on)


• Implement and promote VEOLIA EHS and Ethics policies. Manage service orders and assignments incompliance with applicable regulations and encourage good employee safety practices. Ensure permanent link with EHS leaders to improve EHS culture and comply to all company, customer and regulatory requirements.


• Maintain availability on a 24-hour per day/365 day per year call basis to ensure coverage for FSR duties, EHS and production emergencies

Qualifications

• Mechanical/Electrical/Instrument or equivalent degree in engineering from an accredited university or college with at least 2 years of experience in a field service or operation and maintenance position for Ultra-Pure Water, Waste Water & process treatment field.


• Ability and willingness to travel within territory.


• Must be proficient with Microsoft and google work space applications


• Diploma Holders in Electrical/Instrument background with 5 years' experience in the relevant may apply.

Added Advantages:

• Possess experience in managing site team consist of 4-6 team members


• At least 3 years' experience in the operation & maintenance of water treatment system or facility operation (RO, EDI, UF, Filters, WWTP)


• Experienced on control system (SCADA or HMI)


• Strong Knowledge on water treatment system: UF, RO and EDI/IX


• Strong oral and written communication skills


• Able to interface at all levels of the organization both internally and externally


• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills


• Proven analytical and quality improvement ability
