Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

• Willing to travel occasionally to other locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and perform preventive/corrective maintenance on semiconductor tools at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve faults on vacuum, laser, and X-ray systems.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
• Maintain accurate service records and reports in accordance with company procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Participate in training programmes and continuously develop technical knowledge.

Field Service Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for motivated and energetic engineers to join our growing field service team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced semiconductor equipment at customer sites. TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

We provide comprehensive training - no prior semiconductor experience required. You will receive hands-on and classroom training covering:

• Vacuum systems - pumps, gauges, chambers, and leak detection
• Laser systems - alignment, optics, and maintenance procedures
• X-ray systems - safety protocols, calibration, and servicing
• Broad exposure to a wide range of semiconductor process equipment

Training may take place locally in Singapore as well as at our facilities in Japan and France.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline

• Keen interest in technical work and a willingness to learn
• Good communication skills; able to work independently and in a team
• Willing to travel occasionally to other locations as required
• Candidates with prior experience in semiconductor equipment, vacuum systems, or electro-optical systems will have an added advantage
