Job summary

ACCRETECH (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Service Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for machine installation and maintenance in the semiconductor industry. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.

This position requires strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and proficiency in both English and Mandarin to support communication with clients. Willingness to travel is essential.

Job description

What you’ll be doing

1. Provide Hands‑on technical support for Semiconductor’s group machine installation, setup, buy‑off, upgrade, troubleshooting, repairing and preventive maintenance at customers sites both locally and overseas.
2. Prepare reports which inclusive of service reports and provide feedback on technical issues with regards to machine performance.
3. To update the Management and other concerned personnel on the activities and progress of the job.
4. Respond to customer requests to troubleshoot problems and take corrective actions within deadline by communicating and working closely with HQ and Sales Personnel.
5. Conduct training on proper operation of the machine at customer’s site.
6. Develop and maintain close relationships with customers.
7. Assist with ad hoc tasks to support ongoing projects and business needs as assigned by the manager.

What we’re looking for

1. Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical discipline.
2. Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar service engineer or field service role, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
3. Strong technical aptitude and hands‑on experience in troubleshooting and maintaining complex electromechanical systems.
4. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
5. Customer‑focused mindset and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
6. Willingness to travel within the Central Region to support customer sites as needed.
7. Proficiency in English & Mandarin, both written and verbal. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
