Job summary

Our client seeks a Sales Engineer to join a fast-paced team in Singapore. You will train to become an expert on sensors, measuring systems, laser markers, microscopes, and machine vision products, then consult with manufacturers face-to-face in your sales territory.

Role involves three days of field visits weekly, two days in office, and a strong emphasis on solution selling and applying pro-active sales processes. Travel up to 60% including overnight stays is expected.

Qualifications

• Preferably degree in Business or Engineering.
• Must be able to speak Malay.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% including overnight travel.
• Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills.
• Interest in mastering technical products and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Attend product and application training at Head Office in Singapore (Approximately 3 to 6 months). Training is paid.
• Develop understanding of products and applications through training and seminars.
• Provide technical consultation to solve customers' applications with company products.
• Travel to customer locations three days per week to sell products/services.
• Coordinate account strategy and contribute to territory's strategic plan.
• Deliver growth in market share within assigned sales territory.
• Manage seminars and trade shows as needed.
• Work with minimal supervision and follow company policies.
