Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Field Process Engineer in Singapore. The role focuses on customer installations, process improvements, and DOE evaluations, with on-site support at customer sites and overseas assignments as needed.

You will work with account teams to align technology roadmaps, run simple experiments, and develop new processes for applications in a Fab environment. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, with Masters preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Chemical, Mechanical, Physics, or Materials Science or related field.
• This is a graduate eligible role with no prior work experience required.
• Systematic and analytical mindset with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to engage customers on technical solutions and to work in a Fab environment.
• Willing to support short-term overseas assignments.
• Must wear PPE including cleanroom garments and safety shoes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account team and customers to understand technology roadmaps and requirements.
• Coordinate with Global Product Group on product demonstrations and strategy.
• Assist with startup of capacity-add Lam systems and match results to existing setups.
• Design and evaluate simple DOE to characterize process windows for installations or modifications.
• Conduct experiments, collect data, and generate reports for internal and external distribution.
• Develop new processes for customer applications and maintain equipment in good working condition.
• Represent Lam professionally to customers and maintain strong relationships during start-up and troubleshooting.
• Ensure safety at the work site and comply with company policies.
