Job summary

CERTIS GROUP - GHR is seeking a field- or project-based engineer to support security systems, CCTV, access control, and the underlying server/network infrastructure in Singapore. The role involves installation, configuration, testing, and on-site troubleshooting across OT/IT environments.

The candidate should have 2+ years in OT/IT, with networking knowledge, CCTV and access control expertise, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Professional certificate or diploma in engineering or IT as stated.
• At least 2 years’ experience in Operational Technology/Information Technology industry.
• Knowledge of networking and IP/TCP protocols.
• In-depth knowledge of CCTV, Access Control and System Server.
• IT Certification in Windows systems, storage, networking, virtualization or cloud technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Involve in projects or maintenance services for General Security Systems, Alarms, CCTV, Access control and related server/network infrastructure.
• Install, implement, configure and test system/storage equipment and setups.
• Troubleshoot problems on site.
• Perform OS hardening, patching and updating on servers/VMs.
• Develop implementation, migration and acceptance test plans.
• Conduct acceptance tests with users and address findings.
• Coordinate with Project/Maintenance Managers for task planning.
• Maintain accurate work instructions and service delivery processes.
• Develop as-built documentation for handover.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Involve in the project or maintenance services related with General Security Systems, Alarms Systems, CCTV Systems , Access control systems and Server & Network infrastructure and whenever required

• Perform Installation, Implementation, Configuration and testing of system/storage equipment & setup

• Troubleshoot problems encountered on site

• Perform OS hardening, patching and updating on servers/VM

• Develop implementation plan, migration plan and acceptance test plan for the project

• Conduct acceptance test with users and address the testing findings/issues

• Work closely with Project/Maintenance Managers in planning the implementation tasks

• Maintain accurate and consistent set of work instructions service delivery processes

• Develop As-built documentation for handover

Skills & Experience

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/Nitec, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Information Technology) or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Operational Technology/Information Technology industry

• Knowledge of networking and IP/TCP protocol

• In-depth knowledge in CCTV, Access Control and System Server etc

• Hands-on experience in security-related tasks such as OS tightening, patching and updating, virus scanning will be an added advantage

• IT Certification in windows system & storage, network, database, virtualization, cloud technologies will be an added advantage

• Good communication skills and positive working attitude

• Candidate must possess a Class 3 driving license
