Job summary

Lightway HR Consultancy in Singapore is seeking a Field Engineer to oversee safe, on-site installation, maintenance, repair, and modernization of complex electro-mechanical systems. You will be the primary on-site technical representative ensuring equipment operates reliably and meets safety standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of field experience with electrical and mechanical systems, a technical diploma or associate degree, and strong diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or Associate\'s Degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years field experience.
• Experience with installation, maintenance and repair of complex electro-mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose faults using schematics and tools, perform repairs.
• Install, commission, or modernise units per specs.
• Test, adjust, and calibrate system performance and safety features.
• Respond to emergency call-outs outside normal hours on a rotation.
• Maintain safety documentation, risk assessments, and permits-to-work.
