Job summary

VikConnect Pte Ltd is looking for an experienced engineer to support and maintain General Security Systems, Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and Server & Network infrastructure on site in Singapore. You will install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and document to ensure smooth project delivery and operational stability.

The role requires hands-on work with CCTV, access control, servers, and network gear, along with OS hardening, patching, and creating detailed implementation and acceptance plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Operational Technology or Information Technology industry.
• Knowledge of networking and IP/TCP protocols to support system integration and troubleshooting.
• In-depth knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, and System Server technologies to manage security systems effectively.
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving license for site visits and operational mobility.

Responsibilities

• Install, implement, configure, and test system and storage equipment to meet project requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered on site to maintain system functionality.
• Perform OS hardening, patching, and updating on servers and virtual machines to enhance security.
• Develop detailed implementation, migration, and acceptance test plans for projects to ensure smooth execution.
• Conduct acceptance testing with users and address any findings or issues to guarantee system readiness.
• Collaborate closely with Project and Maintenance Managers to plan and coordinate implementation tasks.
• Maintain accurate and consistent work instructions and service delivery processes for operational clarity.
• Create comprehensive As-built documentation for project handover and future reference.

Education

Professional Certificate/Nitec, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Information Technology) or equivalent

• Strong communication skills and a positive working attitude to facilitate teamwork and stakeholder engagement
