Teradyne (Asia) PTE. LTD.

is seeking a highly motivated Test Application Engineer within the Solutions Engineering Group (SEG) Field Applications to develop test applications for customers using Teradyne ATE platforms. You will collaborate with global teams, debug and deploy solutions, optimize yield and throughput, troubleshoot issues, provide on-site support, and translate customer needs into effective test strategies under pressure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering required.
• 7–10 years of test/product engineering experience in digital, high power device testing; 5+ years in test development preferred.
• Programming on Teradyne or other ATE platforms; UltraFLEX or UltraFLEXPlus is a plus.
• Proficiency in C# .NET or VBA is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal English; willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Able to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and deploy test solutions for semiconductor devices on Teradyne ATE platforms.
• Support test program correlations and release to production activities.
• Optimize existing test solutions for yield and throughput.
• Troubleshoot test issues and improve test methodologies.
• Provide on-site support to customers using Teradyne ATE.
• Collect customer needs and relay to engineering to develop new solutions.
• Coordinate with worldwide application teams to ensure on-time delivery of milestones.

• Develop, debug, and deploy test solutions for semiconductor devices on Teradyne ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) platforms.


• Supporting test program correlations and release to production activities.


• Optimize existing test solutions for yield and throughput.


• Troubleshooting of test issues and improving test methodologies.


• Provide on-site support to customers using Teradyne ATE.


• Collect customer needs and requests, communicate to internal engineering team to develop new solutions for customer.


• Work within the support of ourworldwide application teams to coordinate project development and on time delivery of critical project milestones.

• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.


• 7-10 years of test/product engineering experience in digital, high power device testing and with at least 5yrs test development background preferred.


• Programming experience on Teradyne or other ATE platforms. Experience on UltraFLEX or UltraFLEXPlus is a plus.


• Being proficient in C# .NET or VBA is an advantage


• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and your native language.


• Willing to travel 30% of time when required to.


• Able to handle dynamic work environment with pressure and quick changes.
