Job summary

Wintech Nano-Technology Services Pte Ltd is seeking a Failure Analysis Engineer to operate analytical instruments in a lab, prepare samples, and write analytical reports. The role requires flexibility to work afternoon/evening or night shifts and involves communicating with customers to choose analytical techniques and interpreting data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or above in Material Science, Physics, analytical Chemistry or related science. Surface analysis experience (such as TOF-SIMS, FTIR, AFM, XPS, etc.) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate analytical instruments in lab environment and conduct analysis for customers independently.
• Prepare samples and ensure quality of work; troubleshoot causes when problems occur.
• Write analytical reports.
• Work afternoon/evening shift or night shift if required.
• Document WAOs and training/certification specs.
• Communicate with customer to select proper analytical techniques and data interpretation.
• Participate in ISO17025 in maintaining the system.

Gross Salary Range: $ 3,000.00 - $4,500.00 Monthly

Qualifications: Bachelor, preferred with surface analysis experience (such as TOF-SIMS, FTIR, AFM, XPS, AES, etc.).

• Being able to operate analytical instruments in lab environment and conduct analysis for various customers independently;
• Being able to prepare samples in needs and ensure the quality of the work and trouble-shoot the causes when problem occurs;
• Being able to write analytical reports;
• Being able to work in afternoon/evening shift or night shift;
• Document new failure analysis operating procedures, training and certification specs;
• Communicate with customer for selecting proper analytical techniques and data interpretation;
• Participate in ISO17025 in maintaining the system

Job Requirements

• Bachelor or above in Material Science, Physics, analytical Chemistry or related science. Surface analysis experience (such as TOF-SIMS, FTIR, AFM, XPS, etc.) is preferred;
• Being able to work afternoon/evening shift or night shift if required
• Hands-on sample preparation experience for various analysis;
• Team player with strong work ethic and able to thrive independently as well; strong problem-solving skills;
• Strong language and reporting skills;
