Job summary

United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) in Singapore is seeking a data-driven engineer to support yield enhancement and process development with customers. You will handle chemicals for FA analysis, maintain 6S and ESH standards, operate and improve equipment, and collaborate with customers to deliver their requests; on-call shifts including weekend or 24 hours as needed.

• Prefer FA foundry experience.
• Prefer hands-on experience with AI tools (LLMs, coding assistants).
• Prefer SiPh experience.

• Prefer to have FA foundry work experience for experienced candidate.
• Candidates with hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., LLMs and coding assistants) to improve development efficiency are preferred.
• Candidates with relevant SiPh (Silicon Photonics) experience are preferred
