Job summary

Delco Art Interior Pte Ltd is seeking a capable Production Team Leader to oversee a carpentry crew and supervise fabrication of customized office furniture on site. The role requires strong leadership, carpentry expertise, and the ability to communicate drawing details clearly to shop floor teams.

You will manage material procurement, ensure on-time production, and uphold quality standards while guiding a team of around 20 workers.

Qualifications

• 3 years of team leadership and people management experience.
• Strong carpentry skills and understanding of fine woodworking.
• Proficient with wood working machinery (router, planner, sanding, edge bending, post forming).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of carpenters (approximately 20) to fabricate customized office furniture.
• Procure materials such as plywood and hardware.
• Ensure production meets targets and quality standards.
• Explain drawings and work details to employees.
• Provide leadership and motivate the team to achieve goals.
• Monitor performance and identify training needs.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

• To lead a group of carpenter(20pax) to fabricate customise furniture (offices)
• Procurement of material for example plywood and hardwear
• Strong detailing knowledge
• Strong knowledge to explain the detail drawing or works to the employees
• Ensure production meet targets according to schedule and quality standards set by the Company
• Sets a positive example for employees and provide leadership and motivate them to achieve objectives and goals
• Reviewing the overall performance and identifying training needs of workers
• Any other duties as assigned by the Management

Requirements

• 3 years of related experience in leading and managing a team
• Good knowlege of carpentry skills
• Skillful with wood working machineries router, planner, sanding machine, edge bending, post forming machine
• Good interpersonal communication and problem solving skills
• Good management of materials cost and stock inventory
