Job summary

JTE Recruit Pte Ltd, on behalf of our electronics manufacturing client in Singapore, seeks a mechanical/automation engineer to design and develop automated machinery at the Joo Koon site.

You will lead projects from concept to production launch, troubleshoot for productivity gains, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors. Requires 3+ years in machine design and strong CAD/vision system experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Mechatronics/Automation Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years in machine design/automation in electronics manufacturing, leading end-to-end projects.
• Proficiency in NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD; experience with robotics, motion control or vision systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated machinery, fixtures and assembly systems for new products and production improvements.
• Lead machine design projects from concept through fabrication, testing, commissioning and production launch.
• Troubleshoot and optimize machine performance to boost productivity, quality, and cycle time.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on design, integration and continuous improvement.
