Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience designing factory automation systems including pick and place, conveyor, pneumatics, servo actuators, and sensors
• Proficient in 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
• Mechanical engineering education at NITEC, Diploma, Degree level or higher

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to clarify design concepts and requirements for automation projects
• Develop concept designs, detailed designs, bills of materials (BOM), technical drawings, and conduct design cost analyses
• Assist in equipment setup, perform troubleshooting, and provide technical support to customers
• Prepare comprehensive machine operation manuals and related documentation

Education

NITEC in Mechanical Engineering

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
