Job summary

Wesmech Engineering Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee daily operations and maintenance of M&E systems in commercial and industrial facilities. You will plan preventive maintenance, supervise contractors, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in facilities management, M&E maintenance, or building operations.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in facility operations.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, preventive maintenance, contractor management, and statutory compliance in Singapore.
• Experience in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, government projects, or data centre operations is preferred.
• Good leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Supervise contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion of work.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), Fire Safety, and other statutory regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot facility issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage M&E systems including electrical, plumbing & sanitary, fire protection, air-conditioning, and building services.
• Prepare maintenance schedules, budgets, reports, and technical documentation.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, government authorities, and stakeholders on facility-related matters.
• Lead emergency response activities and support business continuity planning.
