Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a facilities technician to maintain office and plant facilities, ensure safety compliance, manage maintenance records, and coordinate with contractors. You will oversee electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building systems to minimize downtime and support reliable operations.

The role also involves energy-monitoring initiatives, budget-conscious procurement, and reporting on facility performance to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITE certification in mechanical/electrical engineering, facilities management, or related disciplines.
• 2–3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or similar technician roles.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building maintenance systems.
• Experience in preventive maintenance planning and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot office and plant facilities systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing).
• Plan preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors for maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Manage facility assets, records, budgets, procurement, and spare parts.
• Monitor energy usage and support sustainability initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.
