Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with handyman work, plumbing & sanitary / ACMV, AV, M&E systems or similar equipment.
• Time management and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Able to communicate effectively with internal and external users.
• Taking ownership for all tasks assigned including daily operational duties.
• Reliable, proactive, available for work on half day on Saturdays and Sundays, and events.
• Candidate must possess at least a GCE O’ levels / Professional Certificate / NITEC, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• At least 3 to 5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily checks of equipment, facilities and systems (M&E, AV, CCTV) to ensure efficiency.
• Assist Facility Manager with coordinating contractors for scheduled maintenance and addressing breakdowns.
• Provide logistical support for church events, including setup of tables/chairs.
• Assist users on the proper use of the AV system for common areas.
• Provide hands-on support for sound and video crews during events.
• Check general cleanliness/hygiene within church premises.
• Carry out in-house repair and maintenance within capacity.
• Assist with columbarium duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Facility Manager.
