Job summary

The National Library Board (NLB) invites applications for a role within the Properties & Facilities Management (PFM) Division. You will support procurement, manage security operations, and oversee contracts and security projects across all NLB premises.

We seek self-motivated individuals with at least 2 years in physical security, familiarity with government procurement policies, strong English, and meticulous attention to detail to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in physical security.
• Prior experience in government procurement policies & guidelines preferred
• Self-motivated, responsible, possesses good interpersonal and people management skills
• Good command of English (spoken and written)
• Meticulous and attentive to details
• Able to cope in a fast-paced work environment

Responsibilities

• Procurement support
• Plan and manage procurement process
• Manage the various Fund sources
• Verify invoices for goods/ services received
• Contract Management
• Plan and execute security related projects
• Plan and manage tender process for security related projects
• Contract & Contractor management
• Security Management
• Manage day-to-day physical security operations across all premises
• Oversee access control, CCTV, security staff, SOPs and audits
• Support development of security infrastructure and assets
• Engage security contractors to review procedures and implement improvements
• Conduct safety and security checks for regulatory compliance
• Identify, investigate and resolve security incidents
