Job summary

ENGIE Singapore is seeking a capable Facility Manager to lead a team responsible for office building facility management. You will build strong client relationships, uphold service standards, and coordinate with external agencies on major repairs and new initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Electrical Eng and 8+ years in FM, with hands-on M&E knowledge, leadership qualities, and the ability to work independently while delivering under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognised university.
• 8+ years of related working experience in facility management, preferably in large facilities.
• Proven ability to work independently with strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written).
• Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and ability to plan and organize effectively.
• Hands-on M&E/building knowledge with a service-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead a team in facility management for office building.
• Establish good working relationships with clients to develop trust and confidence.
• Establish and maintain quality service standards.
• Coordinate and liaise with external agencies on new initiatives and major repairs and maintenance.
• Prepare tender documents and specifications.
• Plan, coordinate and execute rectification works.
• Responsible for project costing and control.
• Assist manager on daily operations of site and provide technical support and guidance.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

Facility management experience

8+ years related working experience

Independent working & strong interpersonal skills

Excellent communication (verbal & written)

Pro-active, able to work under pressure

Service-oriented mindset

Strong leadership & planning abilities

M&E/building knowledge

Willing to work 5.5 days & relocate to Jurong East
