Job summary

Marina Bay Sands is seeking a proactive Fire Safety Manager to join our Facilities team in Singapore. You will supervise fire systems, coordinate maintenance with contractors, and ensure compliance with local standards while maintaining service excellence for the property.

You will lead safety initiatives, manage budgets, prepare SOPs, and be ready for 24/7 emergency calls. Applicants should have a Diploma or degree and a certified Fire Safety Manager credential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in related field required or preferred.
• Certified Fire Safety Manager credential required or advantageous.
• Relevant employment certificates or work testimony are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain all fire systems and equipment to ensure uninterrupted services to the property.
• Monitor Fire Detection and Alarm Systems and Fire Protection Systems for optimal operation.
• Oversee maintenance activities and coordinate with contractors to meet objectives.
• Plan and manage preventive and corrective maintenance per Singapore standards and guidelines.
• Enforce safe work practices and update risk assessments for the team.
• Procure essential equipment, tools, spares and supplies as needed.
• Manage budget allocation and document all expenses; propose improvements.
• Develop SOPs and training materials for fire systems; support emergency response.
• Be on 24/7 readiness for emergency calls and ensure proper records are kept.
