Job summary

TALENT FIRST PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Facilities Executive/Manager to oversee the maintenance and technical operations of a food production and cold-storage facility.

The role requires hands-on leadership of factory M&E, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, and the ability to drive improvements across the site. A Diploma in Engineering or FM with 5+ years supervisory experience is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in facilities or maintenance operations.
• Good knowledge of electrical, mechanical, chiller and refrigeration systems.
• Experience with ammonia/Freon refrigeration or coldroom systems is preferred.
• BizSAFE certification.
• Able to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Good communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work a 5.5-day work week and perform standby duties when required.

• Lead daily maintenance activities and ensure smooth operation of the facility and equipment.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for refrigeration systems, factory M&E and production machinery.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and implement repairs, modifications or improvement works where required.
• Coordinate servicing and repair works with contractors and equipment vendors.
• Manage maintenance schedules, service contracts, technical reports and related purchases.
• Oversee supporting equipment including forklifts and refrigerated vehicles.
• Support ISO 22000, HACCP, BizSAFE, fire safety and workplace safety requirements.
• Assist with facility upgrading and technical projects.
