Job summary

MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE LTD seeks a Facilities Electrical Engineer to lead engineering, maintenance, and strategic development of on-site electrical systems in a cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing environment.

You will drive safety, reliability, and performance across HV to LV infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align with site and corporate objectives. This role emphasizes leadership growth and AI-enabled efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with HV/MV/LV electrical systems in semiconductor/manufacturing.
• Proficiency with ETAP software and IEC standards.
• Strong analytical and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety compliance across electrical operations.
• Lead commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems from 230kV to Low Voltage.
• Provide expert support and lead root cause investigations using 8D methodologies.
• Coordinate resource management and project expansions for site growth.
• Review scope, schedule, and cost estimates; oversee design and construction.
• Mentor and develop electrical engineers and technicians.
• Drive post-incident reviews and CAPA implementations.
• Drive capacity expansion and energy efficiency initiatives.
• Deploy SMART power systems and AI-enabled tools to boost productivity.
• Integrate AI insights into daily work and ensure alignment with standards.
