Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks a Facilities Electrical Engineer to lead the engineering, maintenance, and strategic development of on-site electrical systems supporting advanced semiconductor manufacturing.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, reliability, and optimal performance of electrical infrastructure from 230kV to Low Voltage, including emergency generators and Dynamic UPS.

Qualifications

• Master’s/Bachelor’s/advanced degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equilvalent is required.
• Experience in High, Medium, and Low Voltage Electrical Systems Design, Maintenance, and Operations within semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Proficiency in HV/MV/LV systems, ETAP software, and IEC standards. Familiarity with SMART systems and predictive maintenance tools is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels.
• Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
• Leadership experience and a track record of impact are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems from 230kV to Low Voltage.
• Provide expert-level support for complex operational issues and lead root cause investigations using 8D problem-solving methodologies.
• Oversee capacity planning, system performance analysis and execution of expansion projects to enable site growth and production demands.
• Review and validate scope, schedule, and cost estimates for infrastructure upgrades; provide engineering oversight during design and construction phases.
• Mentor and develop electrical engineers and technicians through training and hands-on site engagement.
• Lead post-incident reviews and drive corrective and preventive actions for system abnormalities.
• Drive strategic initiatives for system capacity expansion, reliability improvement, and energy efficiency.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency and quality.
