Job summary

SMRT Corporation is seeking a Technical Officer to ensure the operational efficiency and maintenance of station shop facilities through scheduled inspections, fault diagnosis, and preventive and corrective maintenance. You will coordinate with contractors to address ACMV issues and support ongoing inspections and safety standards.

The role requires NITEC in Building Services Technology or related fields and 2–3 years of relevant experience, with willingness to work shifts, including nights,

Qualifications

• NITEC in Building Services Technology, Mechanical / Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant operations and maintenance experience preferred.
• Willingness to perform shifts including nights, Sundays and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Station shop inspections and documentation of defects.
• Fault management as Work Supervisor for shop ACMV faults; collaborate with contractors.
• Attend pre-AWI, AWI and shop reinstatement to ensure operational standards.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance and record conditions.
• Oversee follow-up actions and report to Supervisor.
