Job summary

Commonwealth Glasteelum in Singapore seeks an experienced design professional to manage the window and door design for curtain walls and claddings. You will plan schedules, ensure deliverables meet specs, and oversee drafting to be practical and constructible.

The role requires 3 years of relevant design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D software, and a proactive, collaborative approach to coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and factory teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Architecture, Civil/Mechanical/Mechatronics.
• 3 years of design experience for windows & doors, curtain walls, claddings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD drafting and 3D software.
• Energetic, mature, creative, capable of working under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Bilingual preferred.

• Ensure design, drawings, and all other deliverables meet the requirements and specifications.
• Oversee design preparation are efficient, well-coordinated, practical, and constructible.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings according to project specifications, ensure the design drawings are following the company design guidelines and structural calculations and building integrity.
• Work with the project team, sub-contractor, supplier, and factory team to ensure works are on schedule.

Requirement

• Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or higher qualifications.
• 3 years experience in the design of window & door, curtain wall, claddings, etc.
• Familiar with Autocad drafting, 3D software.
• Energetic, matured, creative, and innovative, able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
• Bilingual is preferred.
