Job summary

Trussco Pte Ltd is seeking a Production/Engineering Executive in Singapore to design, plan, and program production processes and to organize day-to-day manufacturing operations on the shop floor.

You will coordinate production orders for doors, locks, and related products, optimize resources, and work with QC to ensure quality standards are met. Relevant engineering experience and metalwork skills are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Civil/Mechanical engineering required.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the field.
• Senior Executive level preferred in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• Proficient in 3D modeling, drafting, and AutoCAD.
• Proficient in SolidWorks.
• Sheet metal work experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform product design, prepare production drawings and CNC programming works.
• Organize day-to-day production operations and related production administration of the department.
• Coordinate machine and assembly production lines and team activities to achieve optimum output and on-time delivery with required quality.
• Plan and schedule production orders including doors, locks, and other products to meet project delivery schedules.
• Forecast, optimize and organize resources (materials, tools, equipment, manpower) within approved budgets.
• Maintain quality assurance processes and in-process to finished product quality control.
• Review and improve process flows, line layouts, configurations and material flow systems.
• Liaise with QC/QA to ensure production complies with quality standards.
• Assist in other business activities as assigned.

Job description

• Perform product design, prepare production drawing and CNC programming works
• To organize the day-to-day production operations and all related production administration of the Department;
• To organize the machine & assembly production lines and team activities so as to achieve optimum output yield, on-time delivery and meeting the quality required.
• To schedule and plan all the production orders including doors, locks and other products to meet the project delivery schedule stipulated by the Projects and Sales Dept.
• To plan, forecast, optimize and organize various resources such as materials, tools and equipment and manpower to work within the approved budget for each order for the Department.
• Maintain quality assurance processes, in-process till finished product quality control.
• To review and make improvement to process flows and operational procedures, line layout and configuration, and material flow system.
• To liaise with the QC/QA engineer to ensure that production are complying with the company quality standard.
• To assist in other business activities as and when assigned.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• Proficient in 3D Modeling, drafting, experience in using AutoCAD.
• Proficient in SolidWorks.
• Experienced in Sheet metal work is a must for this position.
