Job summary

GTM Aluminium Pte Ltd, based in Singapore, seeks a Facade Design Manager to lead façade design across multiple projects. You will develop technical concepts, detailed drawings and system specifications, ensuring compliance with structural and regulatory requirements.

You will coordinate with internal teams in Singapore and China, as well as external architects, consultants and contractors to resolve design issues, review progress, and optimize buildability and cost.

Qualifications

• Strong façade engineering and design experience with curtain wall, cladding and glazing systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or BIM tools and façade analysis software; familiarity with digital collaboration platforms.
• Solid understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations related to façade performance, structural integrity, fire safety, waterproofing, thermal and acoustic requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead façade design activities across multiple projects and develop technical concepts, drawings and system specs.
• Review and approve design documents; conduct design reviews and coordination meetings.
• Provide technical guidance to designers; support tender submissions with façade proposals and calculations.
• Monitor design progress; manage design changes; contribute to continuous improvement of design standards, guidelines and digital tools.
