SHANGHAI TONGZHENG ALUMINIUM STRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION&TECHNOLOGY COMPANY LIMITED SINGAPORE BRANCH is seeking a Site QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality assurance for façade and curtain wall projects in Singapore. You will implement the Project Quality Plan, manage technical submissions, inspections, and audits with consultants and clients, ensuring compliance with Singapore standards and CONQUAS requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in Singapore's building construction industry.
• Experience in façade, curtain wall, cladding or building envelope projects is strongly preferred.
• Good working knowledge of PQP, ITP, Method Statements, IRF, NCR, RFI and technical submission procedures.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems and audits.
• Working knowledge of BCA requirements, CONQUAS and Quality Mark processes is an advantage.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, clients, subcontractors and testing laboratories.
• Good written and spoken English, with the ability to prepare technical documents and communicate with stakeholders.
• Meticulous, organised, proactive and able to work independently at project sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, implement, review and update the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in accordance with contractual requirements and project specs.
• Review subcontractors’ PQPs, ITPs, Method Statements and inspection checklists.
• Maintain project quality management procedures in line with ISO 9001 and company QMS.
• Coordinate audits with internal, external, client and consultants and follow up until closure.
• Maintain systematic quality documentation and record-control process.
• Review material submissions, including Certificates of Conformity, product data and test reports.
• Prepare and track technical documents and transmittals, including drawings, ITPs and inspection records.
• Coordinate inspections and witness testing with consultants, clients and third parties.
• Maintain approvals, inspection reports, test certificates, NCRs and other quality docs.
• Identify non-conformances and initiate NCRs; drive CAPA with teams and subs.
• Monitor rectification works and ensure timely closure of NCRs.
• Analyse recurring quality issues and implement preventive measures.
• Coordinate QA activities for façade and curtain wall fabrication, delivery and installation.
• Monitor compliance with drawings, specs, ITPs and quality requirements.
• Coordinate façade performance tests and liaise with testing labs.
