Job summary

CHAWK TECHNOLOGY INT'L (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is recruiting for an on-site operator to support piping fabrication using IR butt-fusion and manual bending on PFA/PP materials. Training will be provided, and no prior experience is required for the role.

The successful candidate will read and follow work instructions, perform precise tube bending, and participate in quality checks to ensure joints meet specifications. Overtime may be needed based on production demands.

Responsibilities

• Operate IR butt-fusion machine for welding on thermoplastic piping (PFA & PP).
• Perform manual tube bending on plastic tubes using heating equipment with precise angles.
• Interpret drawings to build parts per print for PFA manual bending.
• Conduct quality inspections including visual weld bead assessment, dimensional checks, and pressure/leak testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Infrared (IR) butt-fusion machine for welding on thermoplastic piping, such as PFA & PP
• Perform manual tube bending on plastic tubes using heating equipment, ensuring precise angles without kinking, blistering, or excessive wall-thinning
• Able to interpret drawings to build the part per print for PFA manual bending
• Conduct quality inspections including visual weld bead assessment, dimensional checks, and pressure/leak testing to ensure joints meet specifications
