Job summary

Kinergy Corporation Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Procurement Engineer (Fabrication) to manage component sourcing for mechanical sheet metal and drive cost reduction through negotiations, alternate sourcing, and supplier consolidation.

You will establish a wide supplier network, collaborate with engineering, operations and product teams, and push for lead time improvements and favorable terms while monitoring market trends to mitigate risks across EOL and single-source parts.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant sourcing experience
• Experience with metal fabrication and plastics tooling
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Manage component sourcing on mechanical sheet metal commodities.
• Drive cost reduction through negotiations and alternate sourcing.
• Develop supplier networks to meet quality, cost, delivery and capacity requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and product teams across procurement activities.
• Monitor market trends and mitigate risks on EOL or single-source parts.
• Provide cost assessments during build phase and during NPI/ECN changes.
