Job summary

Kulicke & Soffa Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Staff Procurement Engineer in Singapore to drive product cost optimization and supplier strategies across the lifecycle. You will partner with Engineering and cross-functional teams to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets while supporting NPI through cost analysis and stakeholder alignment.

You will lead cost reduction initiatives, manage supplier sourcing and negotiations, and maintain cost models to guide make-vs-buy decisions and long-term savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Material Engineering or related field.
• Typically 13+ years of relevant experience in Procurement or Materials.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and BOM structures; familiarity with ECP.
• Strong analytical, planning and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost reduction initiatives across the product lifecycle with engineering partners.
• Manage supplier sourcing, negotiations, and early involvement for new products.
• Maintain cost models and provide updates to stakeholders; track cost targets.
• Drive make-vs-buy decisions and execute VAVE initiatives for cost reduction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cost, quality and delivery goals.
