Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a shift technician for Fab10 who will maintain and support mechanical systems, including vacuum, pumps, chiller, and abatement equipment, prioritizing safety and reliability.

A Diploma in Engineering or equivalent experience is required, with strong mechanical skills and the ability to read schematics. You will supervise the shift team, coordinate with Fab Support on production issues, participate in TPM activities, and integrate AI-enabled tools to improve

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent working experience.
• Strong mechanical competence to repair mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of vacuum systems and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read schematic diagrams to component level.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic PC skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to perform 12-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety priorities and standards.
• Proactively supervise equipment performance and address issues.
• Direct shift equipment team in maintenance and TPM activities.
• Serve as main contact between FAB personnel and Fab Support for production issues.
• Assist with equipment installs, tests and commissioning.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and quality.
