Job description

Responsibilities

• Proactively promote safety priorities and standards.
• Maintain vigilance and bring up workplace safety concerns.
• Proactively supervise the performance of equipment and address any issues in a timely manner.
• Direct the shift equipment team in the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Demonstrate a solid grasp of all Fab Support duties and assist in developing the technical skills of your team.
• Focus on pumps, chiller and abatement systems.
• Perform administrative and supervisory duties for shift technicians: attendance, staffing, and reviews.
• Serve as the main point of contact between FAB personnel and the Fab Support group regarding production issues.
• Accept responsibility for all equipment, process, and personnel issues during shift.
• Ensure coverage as needed to maintain shift needs.
• Coordinate shift contribution to TPM activities.
• Foster an environment for other Fab10 employees to resolve problems, give feedback, and express concern.
• Assist with equipment installations, tests, and commissioning.

Requirements

• A relevant diploma in any engineering courses or equivalent working experience.
• Strong mechanical competence with the ability to understand and repair mechanical systems.
• Vacuum system knowledge and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to use schematic diagrams to solve systems to the component level.
