Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking an Equipment Engineer to support Fab Operations in Singapore. You will maintain equipment readiness, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot tools, and drive improvements to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience in a wafer fab or electronics industry, and demonstrates problem-solving and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in equipment engineering, preferably in a wafer fab / electronics / electrical industry.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support equipment readiness in capacity of either an individual contributor or manager.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Execute maintenance and tool support to ensure equipment readiness.
• Troubleshoot and upgrade equipment to minimize downtime.
• Analyze and monitor technical charts and drive equipment improvement plans and projects.
• Ensure adherence to safety practices and custody of tools and equipment.
