GlobalFoundries inc. in Singapore is seeking an Engineer, Equipment Engineering to maintain and optimize our wafer-fab equipment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support tool readiness across facilities, contributing to yield and productivity improvements. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent and at least 2 years of equipment engineering experience, preferably in wafer fabrication or related electronics sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of equipment engineering experience, preferably in wafer fab/electronics/electrical industries.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities; able to identify and address equipment issues.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and support equipment readiness as an individual contributor or manager.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Execute maintenance and tool support to ensure equipment readiness.
• Troubleshoot and upgrade equipment to improve reliability and throughput.
• Analyze and monitor technical charts to drive improvement plans and projects.
• Follow safety practices and protect tools and assets; collaborate on cross-functional projects.
