Job summary

SSEC PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Eye Clinic Assistant with 2–3 years of private practice experience; candidates with no experience are welcome if they show a positive and keen-to-learn attitude.

You will perform a range of ophthalmic tests and support the ophthalmologist in outpatient clinics.

Duties include assisting with basic administrative tasks and covering nursing/clinic assistant roles when needed.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in private practice preferred.

Job description

Looking for experienced Eye Clinic Assistant, preferably with 2-3 years of experience in private practice setting. Those with no experience may apply, we are looking to hire someone with positive and keen to learn attitude.

Job Scope:

1. Perform visual testings in a private ophthalmologist clinic

• Visual acuity
• B. Auto refractor
• C. Air puff tonometry
• D. Fundal photography
• E. OCT Scans of the optic disc and macula (will be taught)
• F. Humphrey visual field perimetry (will be taught)

2. Main role is to assist the ophthalmologist to carry out outpatient clinic by performing basic tests for every patients and advance tests for some patients.

3. To assist in some administrativematters.

4. To cover the roles of nurses and clinic assistants on occasions when they are not available.
