Job summary

RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an Export Shipping Executive (Food Manufacturing) to support customers with feasible logistics solutions and manage the export process from documentation to dispatch.

The role requires strong exposure to export documentation, vessel bookings, and liaison with authorities, with a 5-day work week at our Pioneer location, Singapore.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in export shipping operations.
• Experience handling export documentation and banking/L/C/D/P processes.

Responsibilities

• Work with Executive Chairman & Joint CEO to serve customers and provide logistics solutions.
• Handle export documentation and operations end-to-end.
• Book vessel space with shipping lines and provide booking confirmations to customers.
• Liaise with SFA officers for Export Health Certificate applications.
• Arrange documents to banks for negotiation under L/C and D/P payments.
• Arrange documents to Embassies and government authorities for endorsements.
• Verify bills on freight charges and ensure financial security prior to loading/discharge.
• Cover Export Shipping Executive on leave and manage daily warehouse/production issues.
• Handle stock allocation and perform ad-hoc duties/tasks.

Export Shipping Executive (Food Manufacturing) | Up to $3,300 Basic + PB

Working days: 5 days work week | Monday - Friday 8:45am - 5:30pm

Working location: Pioneer

Job Description

• Working closely with Executive Chairman & Joint CEO to serve new/existing customers and provide feasible logistics solutions
• Handling the entire spectrum of Export documentations and Operations
• Book vessel space with shipping lines and provide booking confirmation to customers
• Liaising with SFA officers for application of Export Health Certificate
• Arranging documents to bank for negotiation for shipment under L/C payment & D/P payment
• Arranging documents to Embassy and government authorities for endorsement
• Verifying bills on freight charges
• Ensure all necessary financial security in place prior loading/ discharge
• Cover Export Shipping Executive who is on leave
• Handle daily operations - troubleshooting on warehouse and production matters
• Stock allocation
• Perform ad-hoc duties/tasks as assigned by the Company
